Safety, reports and complaints
Football Studies Limited operates the Network for adults aged 18 and over. Under-18 joining is unavailable. A declared adult age is not independent age verification.
Report a concern
Use Report / block on an available item, or Help for a problem you cannot report there. If you cannot sign in, are affected by somebody else’s content, or do not have a Network account, email info@footballstudies.uk.
Give the relevant page or item link, a short explanation and how we can reply. Do not send passwords, verification codes, identity documents or unnecessary information about other people. Do not upload, copy or forward suspected child sexual abuse images.
Reports are allegations for review. Reporting does not automatically hide content, block another person, punish an account or notify emergency services. Blocking is a separate control.
What is not allowed
Do not share pornography, sexual exploitation material, threats, hateful abuse, harassment, scams or content that encourages, promotes or instructs suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. Respect other people’s privacy and rights. Legitimate research, clinical, documentary and supportive discussions need appropriate context and must not promote harm.
Describe your professional experience, qualifications, opportunities, kit and services honestly. A profile, organisation page or service listing is not a Football Studies endorsement or safeguarding certificate. Private messages are text-only and require an accepted connection.
Review and appeal
James Green personally reviews support, moderation and privacy matters during Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 UK time, following GMT/BST. There is no continuous monitoring, out-of-hours cover or immediate-response promise. For immediate danger, contact emergency services.
To challenge a moderation decision or an automatic text-check result, use Help or the email above. Identify the decision and explain the relevant context. An appeal does not automatically restore content or reopen contact. We consider the actual circumstances and explain the action and any next steps.
A complaint about James’s own handling needs a suitable human review route; AI is not independent review. Affected activity may need to pause while that route is arranged. Stopping activity does not resolve the complaint.
Privacy concerns
Use Help → Privacy requests or info@footballstudies.uk to ask about access, correction, removal, restriction or objection. You do not need to create or close an account to raise a privacy concern. Account closure, a saved request and an Answered status are not proof that records have been erased.
You can also raise a data-protection complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
